Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our representative & transferred to hotel. Delhi - capital of modern India. Many dynasties and rulers have flourished on its regal soil over the last 3000 years. The legacy still survives in many monuments varying from the 13th century mausoleum of the Lodi Kings to the buildings of British India's imperial past like the Parliament House and the Presidential Estate. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 02 Delhi - Rishikesh (240 kms)
Today drive to Rishikesh - located north of Haridwar and spreads on the right banks of the Ganges, at its confluence with the Chandrabhaga stream. It is surrounded by hills on three sides and is perched at an altitude of 356 meters above sea level. Check in to hotel. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Rishikesh.
Day 03 Rishikesh - Syanachatti (220 kms)
This morning transfer to Syanachatti. On arrival check in. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight at Syanachatti.
Day 04 Visit Yamunotri
Today embark on a day trip to Yamunotri (30 kms drive & 14 kms trek) - the Garhwal Himalayas have been blessed with some of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage sites and Yamunotri is one such. Yamunotri is the origin of the sacred river Yamuna. Famous for its thermal springs and glaciers, it is one of the most important stopovers. Arrive, perform pooja, darshan and offer prayers at temple. Later return for overnight stay at Syanachatti.
Day 05 Syanachatti - Uttarkashi (170 kms)
After breakfast drive to Uttarkashi - the temple of Lord Vishwanath is located here where a massive iron trident is erected. The other important temples here are Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav, Gyaneshwar and Goddess Kuteti Devi. Check in upon arrival. Evening is free. Overnight at Uttarkashi.
Day 06 Visit Gangotri (100 kms)
Today proceed for day trip to Gangotri - the origin of the sacred river Ganges, attracts tourists in large numbers every year. The confrontation with the daunting rivers and attempts to unravel the mysteries of the supernatural world are ubiquitous sights here. Arrive, perform pooja and darshan. Evening return to Uttarkashi.
Day 07 Uttarkashi - Rudraprayag (260 kms)
After breakfast drive to Rudraprayag. Evening is free for independent activities. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
Day 08 Rudraprayag - Kedarnath
Today drive to Gaurikund, further one way trek of 14 kms to Kedarnath - is a majestic sight, standing in the middle of a wide plateau surrounded by lofty snow covered peaks. The present temple, built in the 8th century by Adi Shankaracharya. Outside the temple door a large statue of the Nandi Bull stands as guard. After freshing up perform pooja and darshan at Shri Kedarnathji. Overnight at Kedarnath.
Day 09 Kedarnath - Rudraprayag
After breakfast return to Rudraprayag. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Rudraprayag.
Day 10 Rudraprayag - Badrinath (160 kms)
Today drive to Badrinath, shrine dedicated to lord Vishnu is considered the holiest of the four important shrines. The town is at an altitude of 3,133 m. above sea level, situated on the left bank of river Alaknanda & exactly between the two mountains Nara and Narayan. Perform pooja & darshan. Overnight at Badrinath.
Day 11 Badrinath - Rudraprayag
Today after breakfast we will drive back to Rudraprayag. On arrival check in. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Rudraprayag.
Day 12 Rudraprayag - Haridwar (220 kms)
This morning drive to Haridwar - the Ganga leaves the mountains and enters the plains with Haridwar being the first major town on the plains. The water is clean and people prefer taking bath on the numerous ghats built on the river shores. It is said that taking bath here purifies the soul. Upon arrival check in. Evening is free to explore the local bazaars. Overnight at Haridwar.
Day 13 Tour Haridwar
After breakfast tour of Haridwar, visit Tapovan - on the other bank of the Ganges houses a temple to Lakshmana. Also seen here are the Swargashram and the Geeta Bhavan temples. The scenic beauty of the region & the distant sound of bell chimes create an unforgettable experience for those that visit this ancient pilgrimage town. Evening assemble at Har-ki-pauri when the river comes alive with flickering flames as floating offerings are released on the Ganges. Overnight at Haridwar.
Day 14 Departure (200 kms)
Today transfer you to Delhi airport for your onward flight.
