Rajputs were able to reduce the influence of Mughals, though some states
were under the control of Mughlas. But with the decline of Mughals during
18th century, the Rajputs regain their power and became independent. During
19th century, some regions of Rajasthan became provinces of British India.
Later in independent India, it became a state of Indian Union.
