Day 01 : Arrive New Delhi

Delhi - capital of modern India. Many dynasties and rulers have flourished on its regal soil over the last 3000 years. The legacy still survives in many monuments varying from the 13th century mausoleum of the Lodi Kings to the buildings of British India's imperial past like the Parliament House and the Presidential Estate. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 02 : Tour Delhi
Today proceed on a tour of Old Delhi, visit the Red Fort, Raj Ghat - a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Ashoka Pillar and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar. Later tour New Delhi, drive along Rajpath the capital’s broadest avenue, for a view of the Parliament House, the President’s House and India Gate. Visit the Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and Birla Temple. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur (260 kms)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur - the capital city of the state of Rajasthan is popularly known as the ‘Pink City’ of the terra-cotta-colored lime plaster that coats the old part of the city's walls, buildings, and temples. Arrive and check in. Overnight at Jaipur.

Day 04 : Tour Jaipur
Varanasi GhatMorning, proceed for an excursion to Amber Fort - the original Palace was built by Raja Mansingh and later additions were made by Sawai Jai Singh. One of the finest example of Rajput architecture. Enjoy the ascent to the Palace on the back of a brightly caparisoned elephant. Visit the multiple chambers and hallways of the palace which are famous for their design and decorations.

Afternoon, proceed for a city tour to visit the unique Jantar Mantar, which is a magnificent stone observatory built by Raja Jai Singh in 1728 and drive past the Hawa Mahal, an intriguing “Palace of Winds”. This was really a facade built in 1799, to allow royal ladies to view the city from the windows. Later visit the opulent City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal style which has grand museums displaying an excellent collection of miniature paintings, costumes and armory. Overnight at Jaipur.

Day 05 : Jaipur - Agra (220 kms)
’s 16th century abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. This ghost town is remarkably well preserved and presents a perfect synthesis of Muslim, Hindu and Jain architecture. The sculptured columns bear mute testimony to this gallant experiment to unite Hindus and Muslims. Continue your drive and check in. Overnight at Agra.

Day 06 : Tour Agra
At sun rise visit Taj Mahal - the mausoleum of Empress Mumtaz Mahal, the beloved spouse of Shah Jahan, who died in 1630. Considered the finest example of Mughul architecture - a style that combines elements of Persian, Turkish, Isndian and Islamic elements. An early morning visit to the Taj Mahal presents an opportunity to admire this dream in marble as it welcomes the rising sun. Return to hotel for breakfast. Continue your tour to the Agra Fort, the original red sandstone fort built by Moghul Emperor Akbar in 1565. The Forts maze of courtyards, its marble mosque and lavish private chambers reflect the grandeur of the Mughal Empire. Visit Akbar’s Mausoleum at Sikandra, which is a fusion of Hindu and Muslim architecture, like the emperor himself. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Agra.

Taj Mahal - Agra Day 07 : Agra - Jhansi - Khajuraho (185 kms)
Early today transfer to railway station and board train to Jhansi. On arrival tour Orchha - is the erstwhile capital city of the Bundela rulers. The town is steeped in history and is famous for its palaces and temples built in the 16th and 17th centuries. Visit Orchha fort complex, located on an island on River Betwa. Four-arched bridge leads to the fort complex on the island. The Jahangir Mahal, which was built by Bir Singh Deo in the early part pf the 17th century to mark the visit of the Mughal Emperor, is an important monument of this fort. Later continue your drive and check in. Overnight at Khajuraho.

Day 08 : Tour Khajuraho
After breakfast tour of Khajuraho - visit to the famous Chandela Dynasty Temples divided into three groups - western, eastern and southern. The western group is most famous, and it is designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. These temples are amazing - rising in many peaks and spirals intricately carved and designed with statues and friezes. The erotic carvings on these temple walls have made this one of the most talked about tourist site in the country and, perhaps, unmatched in the world. Overnight at Khajuraho.

Day 09 : Khajuraho - Varanasi
Today transfer to airport for flight to Varanasi - the eternal city on the banks of the holy river Ganges. Considered to be among the ancient cities of the world, centre of learning and civilisation for over 2000 years. On arrival transfer to the hotel and check in. Later proceed on a half day guided excursion to Sarnath - where Lord Buddha gave his first discourse after attaining enlightenment. Evening return for overnight at Varanasi.

Day 10 : Tour Varanasi
Start the day with a boat ride on the river Ganges at sunrise, presents a as multitudes of devotees pay homage to the Sun God. Cruise past the bathing ghats and crematoriums. Return for breakfast. Later proceed on a guided city tour of Varanasi visit Vishwanath temple, the Bharat Mata temple & Banaras Hindu University. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Varanasi.

Day 11 : Departure
Today we transfer to Varanasi airport for flight to onward flight
